"From July 18 to July 22, 2022, Université Grenoble Alpes Campus will host the 2nd Joint Congress of Mathematics co-organized by the American Mathematical Society, the European Mathematical Society and the Société Mathématique de France.

The city of Grenoble, located in the heart of the French Alps, has grown to be one of Europe's most important research, technology and innovation centres, with one in five inhabitants working directly in these fields. The city holds the title of European Green Capital in 2022.

Université Grenoble Alpes (UGA) is a multidisciplinary institution renowned for its scientific and technological research activities, aimed at providing essential training to students and faculty and at addressing societal issues.

I hope this Congress will offer the opportunity to exchange ideas, strengthen existing cooperations and bring out new collaborations.
